Huon Valley K9 is a Professional Dog Training service based in the Huon Valley of Tasmania. After fifteen years of both Military and Civilian Dog Training experience, our aim is to provide a range of dog training services that enhances the bond between dog owners and their dogs.
Private Dog Training
Private lessons are perfect for owners who want the most effective, reliable and personalized training for their dog. We will work on any issues you may be having (pulling on the lead, jumping, barking etc.) and show you ways which can enhance and develop a clearer and more inclusive lifestyle for you and your dog (off lead control, reliable recall etc.).
Private lessons are also ideal for reactive dogs, aggressive dogs or those with more problematic behaviours.
In some cases, only one private lesson is enough to address your goals, and to address the behaviour of your dog. If you require a greater level of control, or your dog has more serious issues, multiple lessons will be required to meet your training goals.
Private lessons start at $140 per hour. As each dog is individual, we develop training plans based on your dog and your goals. We look forward to discussing your training needs and developing a flexible training plan to suit your needs.
